Kirjeldus
Fine5 Dance Theatre´s “Hip-hip, hurraa” („Hip-hip, hooray“) is a vibrant dance performance about love in its many forms—none greater than the other, yet together forming something immense, tender, and deeply human. It is a story about two couples of refurbished hip joints, bound by time and transformation, move together like perfectly paired cheese and wine—quirky, intimate, and unexpectedly harmonious. With subtle humor and visual elegance, the piece reflects on aging, reinvention, and the beauty of reuse. After a long absence, the founders of Fine5 Dance Theatre—acclaimed dancers Tiina Ollesk and Renee Nõmmik—return to the stage in a rare and compelling reunion. Created in collaboration with writer Lauri Saatpalu, composer Liisa Hirsch, set designer Maarja Meeru and light designer Joosep Kurm, this new production blends striking physicality with poetic storytelling. Premiered: June 5th, 2026 Venue: ETA Theatre Hall Supported by: Kultuurkapital, City of Tallinn Co-production partner: Eesti Tantsuagentuur
